We currently have a remote Sr. Director of Brand, Content, and Creative opportunity with one of our clients here in the Twin Cities. This opportunity is 40/hrs a week and is a +3month contract opportunity at this time with the potential to extend.

Job Description

Senior Director of Brand, Content and Creative

In your role as Sr. Director, Brand, Content & Creative, you will support our efforts to be known as a global, industry-leading, modern logistics brand with leading technology, by overseeing creative services, content strategy and brand.

· Lead the development of initiatives that drive forward our corporate brand identity through bold, inventive creative campaigns and brand marketing.

· Define and build a scalable brand and creative services marketing function that expands our market presence through internal and external global initiatives, including managing agency partners, freelance consultants, and other standard operating procedures within the growing function.

· Lead a team of content producers to develop campaigns, infographics, videos, interactive assets, audio, social, and ensure quality and consistency across their work.

· Be an expert on the brand, positioning, and messaging to drive cohesion and one voice in the market and lead creative experiences that represent it.

· Have a constant pulse on the market to understand the landscape, bring ideas forth to drive impact, and develop innovative, 360-degree ideas for content that meets the objective to disrupt and reinvent.

· Develop relationships and work cross-departmentally with departments inside and outside of Marketing to effectively organize and execute on corporate brand initiatives.

· Working closely with creative and planning teams to help manage workflow for producers/editors, creative team members and content planning.

· Leverage extensive people management experience for the professional development and growth of your team

· Create and guide the vision of our content strategy. In many cases, the role operates as the leader that will guide themes and long-term planning, partnering with and mentoring a team of internal and external content creators.

Background / Experience We Are Seeking In Candidates

· +10+ years’ experience in multichannel content creation and development, and leading creative teams

· An eye for the aesthetics of modern, dynamic and fresh content creation/curation

· A superb writer and digital content creator with a pulse on current technology and digital/social media best practices that drive innovative, modern corporate communications

· Proven background and experience as a strategic, big thinker.

· Ability to think like an educator, intuitively understanding what the audience needs to know and how they want to consume it

· Clear articulation of the business goal behind the creation of a piece (or series) of content.

· Leadership skills required to define and manage a set of goals involving diverse contributors and content types

· Project management skills to manage editorial schedules and deadlines within corporate and ongoing campaigns

· Excellent communication skills at any level of an organization

· Experience working with global colleagues, understanding the cultural differences between regions and acts accordingly
